Special Cats for Extraordinary people
At Misfit Rescue, our cats are a part of our hearts.
We have nurtured and nourished them through illness, trauma, and transitions.
We have seen them change in remarkable ways, and in turn, they have changed us.
For as much as we love our crew of Misfit cats, we are driven to save all of the cats who suffer on the streets. To do so, we need committed, loving adopters willing to meet the challenges that may come with our cats so that we can save more.
Our cats have incredible survival stories.
Some of them have never had a home of their own after living their entire lives in harsh conditions outdoors, others have had extensive medical care and rely on daily medications.
Some are senior and toothless, others are young and rambunctious.
No matter their story, all of our cats just want a warm lap, a soft touch, food in their dish, and a safe place.
We cherish them and we ask that you do the same.

Elliot

Elliott is a senior cat with a gentle, calm nature. He loves attention and gets along well with other cats.
He was found outdoors in 2024 in pretty rough shape. At Misfit Rescue, he had a lot of vet care and dental work to get him in tip-top shape. Sometimes, he gets a bit wobbly, but this only adds to his charm and he has a clean bill of health.
Mr. Marbles

Mr. Marbles is the softest, sweetest cat you will ever meet. He is calm and loves to be perched high atop something, coming down often for love and affection He would do best in a home with older cats or as the only cat.
He is a senior cat who does not have any teeth, but that just adds to his cuteness and he is able to eat normally. He has episodes of stomatitis that is managed with medication.
Kataya

Kataya is a 2-year-old lovey dovey sweet girl with the air of a princess. She is very playful and loves to chase string toys. She gets along with other cats but also likes to have her space.
She came to Misfit Rescue in 2024 with her mom. She loves affection, and with her silky soft fur, it is easy to give to her.
Freddie

Freddie is a laid back feline who loves lounging in a cat tree. He is soft spoken, friendly, and tightly bonds with his special person. He gets along well with other cats. He is about 8 years old.
In a past life, he was a community cat (which explains the tipped ear). Now that he's moved indoors, he enjoys being around people, but can be shy at first. He's had all his teeth removed and has bouts of stomatitis (treated with medication).
Roscoe

Roscoe is one of Misfit Rescue's most eligible bachelors. He can be shy at first but give him time (and food) and he will headbutt you playfully.
As a senior boy, he likes to spend time relaxing. He gets along well with other cats. Since being rescued from a hoarding situation in 2024, he
have come so far socially and has so much love and loyalty to give to the right person.
Heidi

Heidi is a partial Maine Coon fluff ball with lots of energy. She is about 2 years old. She has lived with other cats but may do better as an only cat or paired with a cat that is calm.
Heidi is large and in charge! She has big, beautiful tufts of fur on her cheeks and an even bigger, sassy tail. She was rescued with her 3 kittens behind a Petco. Her kittens all found good homes. Heidi is still waiting for hers.
Baby boots

Moon

Baby Boots is the best mannered cat around with an incredible survival story! He nearly died from a life-threatening cat illness (FIP), but recovered with the help of the community who supported him back to health.
He is young (2 years old) and plays well by himself. He also loves to chase, wrestle, and bathe his friends before curling up for a nap. He often lays with his front paws crossed in front, looking very stately in true gentleman style.
Moon is “over the moon” friendly to all!
She is playful at heart with big curious eyes She gets along well with other cats.
She is about 8 years old and was found in a hoarding situation where she didn’t get the best care. A tumor on her jaw had to be removed along with her teeth, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her true passion: helping out at mealtime and sampling all types of cat food! She is a survivor and in good health now.
Booker

Booker is a tiny house panther who LOVES to play and wrestle with his cat friends. He has the cutest chirps and churtles, especially when carrying around his favorite toy mouse.
He is 2 years old and would do best in a multicat home with a confident playmate around his age. Belly rubs are his favorite, so get your hands ready to pamper a panther!
Weeble
_edited.jpg)
Three-year-old Weeble has a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. He is known as “Uncle Weeble” for his nurturing nature caring for and guiding younger kitties. He is playful and would do best with a young cat for a playmate.
He was found cold and starving in a park. Even then, his magical qualities shone through. Although he has a mobility challenges and trembles and wobbles a bit, it doesn’t hold him back from giving and receiving love and playing hard. He is so resilient, and with the help of a little daily medication, he lives a happy life.
Gertie

Gertie is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who came to Misfit Rescue in September 2025 for some much-needed dental work. While recovering, her affectionate nature shone through and we knew she would make a great companion cat.
Gertie is a regal senior who is about 12 years old and loves to be petted. She is a loner who likes her space and can get sassy if that is infringed upon, so a single cat household would likely be best for her.
Charlie

Charlie is another one of our eligible bachelors! He is a handsome lynx point siamese with bedroom eyes and a gentle touch.
Charlie is a senior who loves snuggling in cozy beds and adores attention. He is very good with other cats.
Additional photos of cats are available upon request.
All of our cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated.
